Freiwilliger Helfer der Grenztruppen
The Freiwilliger Helfer der Grenztruppen is the minimum impression required for attendance and participation with us at events. This makes for a great impression to get your foot in the door and experience the hobby with us. This is usually considered an introduction impression, but if you enjoy it - it can definitely be your permanent one.
Requirements: Generation 1 or Generation 2 BDU set. Approved footwear. Sidecap. Grey belt + buckle.
Allowable Equipment: Period watch, notebook, and radio. No weapons were carried by volunteers.

A detailed guide (work in progress) has been made available, and I have decided to post it to our site for public viewing. This will serve was a service not only to interested parties in recruitment but also as a service to the hobby it's self. Many people attempt to make Grenztruppen impressions but many also do it wrong. There is nothing to be ashamed in making a mistake, we have done it ourselves, especially early in our impressions. Learn from our mistakes and appreciate the product of our experience by utilizing this guide. The guide is always a work in progress, and does need more content, but does have a healthy dose of information available.
